Commercial Insurance
Business coverage is rarely one policy. Depending on what you do, it is a combination of property, liability, vehicle, and workers' compensation coverage, sized to your operation. We insure local businesses across St. Bernard Parish, the Northshore, and greater New Orleans, and quote each piece with carriers that write your class of business in Louisiana.

Worth knowing in Louisiana
Louisiana law generally requires employers to carry workers' compensation insurance for their employees. Contract work for parishes, municipalities, and general contractors also commonly requires certificates of insurance naming the hiring party. We issue certificates for our clients as part of normal service.

What commercial insurance can include
Each item below is a distinct coverage with its own limit and, in some cases, deductible. Whether a specific loss is covered always depends on the terms of the policy you purchase.
- 01General liability
- Covers third-party bodily injury, property damage, and related legal defense arising from your operations, premises, or products.
- 02Business owners policy (BOP)
- Packages commercial property and general liability into one policy for eligible small and mid-size businesses, with one premium and one renewal date instead of several.
- 03Commercial property
- Covers your building, equipment, inventory, and fixtures against covered perils such as fire, theft, and wind.
- 04Commercial auto
- Covers vehicles owned or used by the business: liability, physical damage, and coverage for employees driving for work.
- 05Workers' compensation
- Pays medical costs and lost wages for employees injured on the job, and is generally required for Louisiana employers.
- 06Umbrella & excess liability
- Additional liability limits that sit above your primary policies for businesses that need higher protection, quoted case by case.
